Chapter Officers

Brittany Tashner

Hello! My name is Brittany Tashner and I am a senior at UWL. I am from Cuba City, Wisconsin which is about two and a half hours south of La Crosse. I am studying Therapeutic Recreation and on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track. My minors include Psychology and Photography. I chose to be a part of Sigma because I wanted to expand my leadership and gain friendships that last a lifetime with other empowered women. Besides being a part of Sigma, I work 3 jobs and I am involved with Student Association as the Public Relations Director. In my free time, I like to go hiking, take naps, and spend time with my friends and family.

Chloe Harmsen

Vice President of Operations

Victoria "V" Bucolt

Vice President of New Member Education

Meet V our VPNME! She is from St. Charles, IL and is currently majoring in Therapeutic Recreation and is minoring in Recreation Management. Some of her favorite hobbies to do when she is not with her sisters or studying include skiing, shopping, yoga, sailing, playing badminton and tennis. She is also very involved with youth ministries. The reason V joined Tri Sigma is because, "I've always appreciated the importance of family and have grown up with people who loved and supported me. When I went away to college, I found that same love and support with Sigma and my sisters. It gave me a home away from home."

Haley Castle

Megan Schroeder

Meet our Secretary, Megan Schroeder! She is a Sophomore from a small town of Mosinee, WI who is pursuing her education in Marketing and Accounting. When she isn't working towards her studies or with her sisters, you might find her figure skating, shopping for the latest trends, or with her family. Megan chose sorority life because, "I was struggled with grades my first semester at UWL and was becoming very homesick. I needed some sort of support system to help encourage me to strive for success. I saw that many of my friends from home were joining sororities and I thought it would not only encourage me to get my grades up, but I would be able to create bonds of friendship that would last a lifetime. Tri Sigma showed up on campus and a friend texted me and asked if I wanted to join. Since then I feel it has been one of the most beneficial experiences in my life so far."

Hannah Ottevaere

Membership Recruitment Director

Meet Hannah our Recruitment Director! Hannah is from Chippewa Falls, WI and is currently in her Junior year, here at UW-La Crosse. She is majoring in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and is minoring in Photography. In Hannah's free time she likes to take pictures, play golf and go traveling. Other than Tri Sigma, Hannah is the treasurer of the photography club and is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Hannah said she chose sorority life because "I wanted to be more involved on campus and in the community as well as strengthen my leadership skills. What better way to do that than with a group of women that shares the same values and holds themselves to the same standards as I do. I can't believe how much I have learned, grown, and benefited from Tri Sigma in just 3 short semesters."

Montana Fender

Education Director

Meet our Education Director, Montana Fender. She is a Junior from St. Paul, MN who is pursuing her education in Communication studies: Organizational and Professional along with Cultural Anthropology. When she isn't studying or working her officer position, she can commonly be found reading, watching Netflix, or shopping for her new "nerd memorabilia". Although Sigma is important to her, she is also part of the Comm Club, UWL Archaeology/Anthropology Club and is part of UWL's Residence Life. Montana chose sorority life because, "I was looking for a group of women who had similar beliefs, interests, and needs that I did. When I joined Tri Sigma I was feeling lost in the direction my college experience was going to take, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to come out of school with anything more than just a degree and with Sigma I found that I’m going to leave school with more sisters than I’ll know what to do with!"
